Abraham Gonzalez

Performance / Baseball Coach

Abraham Gonzalez is a graduate of Fort Hays State University where he specialized in Exercise Science/Health and Promotion. Gonzalez began his coaching career at the University of Kansas as a Strength and Conditioning GA/Intern.  While there, he assisted some of the top Strength and Conditioning Coaches in division one collegiate level with Baseball, Football, Basketball, Softball, Soccer, Golf, Swimming-Diving, Volleyball, Tennis, and Track.  After completing his strength and conditioning internship at the University of Kansas, Gonzalez began a 12-year stint in professional baseball as a Strength and Conditioning specialist at different capacities.  Gonzalez worked with teams that included the Kansas City Royals, Cleveland Guardians, Washington Nationals, and the San Francisco Giants.  Gonzalez was also a member of the San Francisco Giants Organization in 2010 when they won the World Series.  Furthermore, in the 12-year stint in professional baseball, Gonzalez worked with some of the top respected and successful Strength and Conditioning specialist in the business; they included Tim Maxey, Fernando Montes, and Kazu Tomooka.  Gonzalez’s continual pursuit of quality training and dedication to helping athletes and clients achieve their goals led to the development of Peak Performance Strength.
